“Irie” Pale Ale
Nice yellowish tinted head over a hazy yellow-orange with greenish shine in color. Very fruity & flowery on the nose, with fresh hops and some very fine malts. Very subtle and pleasing.
Bergamot and citrus zest ,bitterish-fruity taste, a bit wry as not-quite-ripe fruit, rhubarb – without the characteristic sourness. Flowery with some veggi notes. Flowery, maybe veggie notes. Well balanced, refreshing, reasonable body for such a light ale.
Pair it with fried fish, fried battered vegetables, Parma ham and melon, wiener schnitzel or tempura.
